I'm just a red wine drinking, pop culture obsessed gal with 100% chaotic energy.
Here's the rundown: When I graduated from Washington State University's Edward R. Murrow College of Communication in 2017, I left with not only countless memories of the best four years of my life (Go Cougs!), but a background in both broadcast and multimedia journalism. Backed by several internships and freelance opportunities, I moved to Salem, Oregon, to be the arts and entertainment reporter for the Statesman Journal, where I would spend the next two and a half years. Oh, and I also launched, led and emceed the Salem Storytellers Project. We love a multitasker.
Fast forward to March 2020; I moved home to Washington to be the assistant editor of Seattle Refined, the lifestyle brand of Seattle's ABC affiliate, KOMO News, where we cover events, food, art and life in the Pacific Northwest. We're always online and on TV weekdays at 3 p.m. on KOMO 4.
When I am not on the clock, you can find me binge-watching my latest show, tweeting about who knows what, making chaotic videos on TikTok, listening to podcasts, exploring the city, at a festival or having a drink (or three) at the bar. Cheers!
